My favorite city: Buenos Aires

Eigentlich hab ich viele Lieblingsstädte New York(USA), Kiel (Deutschland), Hamburg (Deutschland), Kopenhagen (Dänemark) und Buenos Aires (Argentinien).

Ich denke die anderen Städte bis auf Kiel vielleicht sind euch allen sehr bekannt deswegen habe ich mich für Buenos Aires entschieden.

Die wunderschöne Hauptstadt Argentiniens die direkt am Rio de la Plata liegt und für viele Europäische Auswanderer als Heimat dient. Die Stadt des Tangos die zwar unter einer Smog decke liegt aber dennoch ein wunderschönes Flair ausstrahlt.

I have a lot of favourite cities Kiel (Germany), Hamburg (Germany), New York (USA), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).

I think the most cities, maybe not Kiel, are well known. So I have chosen Buenos Aires because I really love this city and the feeling of the capital from Argentina.

The beautiful capital from Argentina is close to the Rio de la Plata and offers some European emigrants a new Home.  The city of the tango that is always under smog has a beautiful flair.

Buenos Aires ist ein der vielseitigsten Städte der Welt. Jeder Stadtteil hat seine eigene Geschichte, die wohl bekannteste ist La Boca, der Stadtteil mit seinen Wellblech Häusern in bunten Farben, der Stadtteil der Einwanderer und die Geburtsstätte des Tangos.  La Boca ist wohl der Stadtteil der unsere Vorstellung von Argentinien geprägt hat. In den meisten Köpfen heißt es Argentinien, Buenos Aires okay das ist Tango, Boca Juniors Fußball und Maradona. Doch Buenos Aires hat mehr zu bieten als Fußball und Tango. Davon abgesehen das die wenigsten Argentinier wirklich Tango tanzen können. Vom Stadtteil La Boca direkt am Wasser entlang geht es weiter immer am Rio de la Plata entlang bis zum Plaza de Mayo.

Buenos Aires is one of the versatile cities in the world.  Every district has their own history.  The most famous district is La Boca. La Boca the district with the colourful shanties, the district from the emigrants and the birthplace from Tango.  La Boca is the district who gives us the most imagination of Argentina. The most persons think when they hear Argentina, Buenos Aires only about La Boca, Tango, Boca Juniors (Football) and Maradona. But Buenos Aires is more than football and Tango. The most Argentinian people cannot dance tango. From La Boca we are going on the Rio de la Plata to the Plaza the Mayo.  

Plaza de Mayo und Casa Rosada bekannt für die Mai Revolution, bekannt aus dem Film Evita und zur Papst Wahl von Franziskus den Ersten haben die Argentinier auf diesen Platz gefeiert. Ein Platz der wunderschön ist und durch das rosa farbende Parlamentsgebäude, dem Gebäude wo die Präsidentin Cristina Fernández de Kirchner Politik betreibt außerdem steht hier das Monument von Manuel Belgrano, dieser gilt als Erfinder der Argentinischen Flagge. Von dem wunderschönen Platz aus haben wir die Wahl entweder wir steigen in eine der ältesten U-Bahn Linien oder wir laufen die Avenida de Mayo entlang um noch ein Blick ins das älteste Café von Buenos Aires zu werfen. Denn das Café Tortoni liegt auf unserem Weg. Am Ende der Avenida de Mayo landen wir beim Plaza de Congresso. Wieder ein Platz vor einem Regierungsgebäude.  

Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada the place are known from the May revolution, the movie Evita and the papal election from papal Franziskus. The Argentinian people have celebrate their papal Franziskus at this place.  A beautiful place with the pink parliament Building, the building where the president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner makes her politics.  Also you can find here the monument from Manuel Belgrano who is the inventors from the Argentinian Flag. From this place you can chose, first you can take the oldest underground train from Argentina or you can walk through the Avenida the Mayo and can visit on that walk the oldest café from Buenos Aires, café Tortoni.  On the end of this street you can find the Plaza de Congresso.

       

Ein weiteres Highlight ist in Buenos Aires die Avenida de Julio, auch im Musikvideo Frio von Ricky Martin zu bestaunen. Die Avenida de Julio gilt als breiteste Straße der Welt und in der Mitte von ihr  wo sich Avenida de Julio und Avenida Corrientes kreuzen steht der Obelisk. Er ist das Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Den Obelisk sollte man auf jeden Fall einmal am Tag und einmal abends bestaunen wenn überall die Lichter an sind außerdem laden die Parkanlagen am Obelisk zum Verweilen ein.

Another highlight in Buenos Aires is the Avenida de Julio, you can see this street in the music video frio from Ricky Martin. The Avenida de Julio is the widest street in the world. In the middle where Avenida de Juilo and Avenida Corrientes intersect stands the Obelisk. The obelisk is the landmark from Buenos Aires.  You should visit the obelisk at day time and also in the evening where you can see all the light. Also is next to the obelisk a nice park where you can sit.

Ein weiterer mehr als schöner Ort in Buenos Aires ist der Stadtteil San Telmo, besonders schön ist es dort den Markt zu besuchen wo man sich die wunderschönen traditionellen Mate Gefäße (Calabaza) kaufen kann und neben bei die Tangotänzer bestaunen kann während man über den Markt geht.

Another beautiful place in Buenos Aires is the district San Telmo. You should visit the marked here. On the marked you can bought the traditional Mate Tee Vessles (Calabaza) and you can watch here some dancer who dance tango.

Ein anderes Buenos Aires ist in Palermo zu bestaunen, der Stadtteil mit dem Botanischen Garten und den vielen großen Häusern. Der neben der Pferderennbahn und dem Pferdepolo auch eine Einkaufsstraße zu bieten hat die nur so zum Shoppen einlädt.  Ich habe auf dieser Shopping Straße die von Palermo bis Recoleta reicht einige Tage verbracht wenn ich nicht im Stadtzentrum in der Calle Florida shoppen war, welche sich im Florida Stadtteil befindet und viele schöne Geschäfte zu bieten hat, man erreicht die Calle Florida am besten vom Plaza de Mayo aus.

You can find a different Buenos Aires in Palermo. Palermo is the beautiful place where you can find the botanic garden, the horses Racecourse and the horses’ polo field. Also the shopping street who goes from Palermo to Recolta is great. Another nice place for shopping is the Calle Florida who is close to the Plaza de Mayo. The Calle Florida is a great shopping street with a lot of different shops.

Doch Recoleta hat neben shoppen auch den Cremeterio de la Recoleta zu bieten einen wunderschönen Friedhof. Auf diesem Friedhof ist auch das Grab von Evita Perón zu finden eine der wohl bekanntesten Politischen Persönlichkeiten Argentiniens. Ihr Grab ist im Familien Grab der Duarte da sie eine geborene Duarte war. Ich fand diesen Friedhof sehr schön, er hat zwar etwas Unheimliches weil die Särge zu sehen sind, bei manchen Gräbern, aber auch wiederum etwas Schönes. Jeder sollte bei einem Argentinien Besuch den Cremeterio de la Recoleta mit einplanen.

Recoleta has not only shopping; you can visit here the Cremeterio de Recoleta, the beautiful cemetery.  You can find here the grave from Evita Perón. Her grave is in the family grave from the Family Duarte. The Cremeterio de Recoleta is scary because you can see sometimes the coffins but on the other hand it is a very beautiful cemetery.  For everyone who visits Buenos Aires you should visit the Cremeterio de Recoleta.

Für jemand der Plant nach Buenos Aires zu reisen nehmt euch Zeit für Recoleta, La Boca, dem Markt in San Telmo, Palermo, Plaza de Mayo und geht auf jeden Fall Shoppen. Außerdem trinkt Mate Tee, erlebt ein Argentinisches Asado und probiert Alfajores mit Dulce de Leche.

Eine Stadt wie Buenos Aires hat natürlich noch viel mehr zu bieten aber alles aufzuzählen wäre jetzt zu viel. Wer noch mehr wissen möchte den kann ich den Link schicken zu meinem Argentinien Blog über meine Zeit in Argentinien.

For everyone who goes to Buenos Aires you should visit Recoleta, La Boca, San Telmo , Palermo, Plaza de Mayo and you should go shopping. Also you should drink mate tee, go to an Asado and you should try Alfajores de Dulce de Leche.
